Every court starts with a nomination. Nominate a classmate — or yourself — for King, Queen, or the Homecoming Court. Nominees are verified by staff, then the student body votes.

Who Can Be Nominated
Any ALIHS student in grades 9–12 who is in good standing under the school’s attendance and behavior policy.
Who Can Nominate
Students, families, and staff. Students may nominate themselves or a classmate. One nomination per student per title is plenty — it is not a popularity count.
Verification
Staff confirm every nominee is eligible and agrees to be on the ballot before names are posted.
Voting
Students vote once per category during the school day. Staff verify results before Friday’s announcement.

What Happens Next
- Staff review every nomination and confirm eligibility.
- Approved nominees are announced before voting day.
- Students vote Thursday; winners are revealed Friday at the dance.
- King, Queen, and Court are crowned at Saturday’s extended halftime.
